Nationally, 1% of licensed cannabis businesses are owned by African Americans. Tea Pad will lead a provocative conversation on what social justice in the cannabis industry should look like on Tuesday, December 17th.
The conversation will feature keynote speaker Corey Barnette. Corey is the owner of District Growers cultivation center and the Metropolitan Wellness Center dispensary, which are both licensed in Washington, D.C. He is also an equity partner with licenses in California, Massachusetts and Illinois.
