ATL Supports Tea Pad Event as Title Sponsor

Nationally, 1% of licensed cannabis businesses are owned by African Americans. Tea Pad will lead a provocative conversation on what social justice in the cannabis industry should look like on Tuesday, December 17th.

The conversation will feature keynote speaker Corey Barnette. Corey is the owner of District Growers cultivation center and the Metropolitan Wellness Center dispensary, which are both licensed in Washington, D.C. He is also an equity partner with licenses in California, Massachusetts and Illinois.

Tea Pad is a social enterprise and networking group committed to social justice. Their mission is to break down barriers to entry into the cannabis industry and to empower participation for all people through education.
