Working with the Cannabis Patient Advocacy Association (CPAA), representatives Devona Austin and Scott Robertson of Atlantic Test Labs took time to meet with, and educate Maryland legislators during the 2020 session.
Austin and Robertson discussed issues relevant to medical cannabis patients, such as expanding pediatric access to medical cannabis and protecting medical cannabis patients in the workplace.
According to CPAA, 84,451 certified medical cannabis patients exist in Maryland, as well as countless individual patient advocates, advocacy groups, and formal patient advocacy organizations and entities.
The Cannabis Patient Advocacy Association is a professional business association founded and operated by a certified medical cannabis patient, with a background in law and policy. The group is currently seeking status as a Not for Profit, 501 (c)(6) Association: cannabis patient advocacy reform.
